TRAINING

.

General and Bespoke Training

ZYX is committed to deliver its training in the way that is most suitable for the client, aiming to maximise benefits.

In terms of content, the choices relate to the client’s industry or sector, what the client wants to achieve and the background, skills and experience of the participants.

Training can be general, focusing on how to make good decisions, or aligned to specific skills, challenges or needs (for example, Leadership, Strategy, Risk Management, Project Risk Management, Crisis Avoidance & Crisis Management, Negotiation & Risk, Creativity).

Furthermore, the training provided will be chosen to match the experience, stage in their careers, of the audience. For example, different material will be chosen for Board Room decision making than for those at the start of their journey.

There is considerable flexibility in terms of timing and location.

  • Training can take place over a specific number of days or part-time to take account of participants’ time constraints. Either way, the intention is to maximise benefits and to ensure they are sustained over the long term.
    .
  • If appropriate, training can be conducted at the client’s offices. Alternatively, an external location can be offered. For some clients, an external location is more suitable in terms of ‘team-building’ and minimising the risk of absences through participants being recalled to resume day to day responsibilities.

Critically, whatever is agreed at the outset, it will not be ‘set in stone’. As progress is made, ZYX will review and refine its training in response to the client’s evolving needs (and putting into practice ZYX’s iterative approach to uncertainty and decision making).

Conferences, Workshops and Awaydays

ZYX has developed a one hour presentation and half and one day training courses for everyone within an organisation, irrespective of role and seniority. They are designed to be enjoyable, ideal for company awaydays and conferences, aiming to improve decision making and team effectiveness.

All sessions include imaginative and leading edge material delivered in a manner that is thought provoking and memorable.

  • An introductory presentation that explains why, in today's world, it is so easy to make poor decisions and makes specific suggestions on how to avoid common pitfalls and improve both individual and group decision making.
    .
  • The half-day course introduces ZYX's proprietary 3E framework and provides related training to enable it to be used more effectively to improve both individual and group decision making.
    .
  • The full day course (or two half-days) covers all the above but in greater depth. The day can include exercises to practice a particular aspect of decision making or address a specific context in which decisions are made, such as risk management or strategy development.  As such, ZYX will tailor the material and its delivery according to what the client most wants to achieve.

.

Follow Up

Recognising the long-term interests of all parties, ZYX is committed to ensure that its training is put into practice, proves highly beneficial and remains responsive to a client’s evolving needs. There are various possibilities in terms of ‘follow up’ which will be agreed with the client.

Please contact us to discuss your needs and the most suitable way of achieving benefits from ZYX's services.
